Wrinkle Fighting Sunglasses – Summer Eyes

Fighting wrinkles and crows feet around your eyes has never been more fashionable. Large rimmed sunglasses protect and cover the sensitive and wrinkle prone skin around your eyes from the damaging effects of the Sun. But, large sunglasses simply aren’t enough – those sunglasses need to have UVA/UVB rating otherwise those damaging rays will penetrate through the sunglasses.

Even the cheapest of sunglasses now have UVA/UVB protection built in so there are no excuses for not owning a pair of UVA/UVB filtering sunglasses. When you’re shopping for sunglasses with built in sun protection look for a pair that block at least 98 percent of UVA/UVB. Sunglass lens made of polycarbonate, some glass and plastics can block 100% of UVA/UVB but they are also the most costly.

It’s recommended that you wear sunglasses year round as even minimal sun exposure can be detrimental due to it’s cumulative nature.

UVA/UVB protection is incredibly important not only for our skin, but our eyes as well. It doesn’t matter what brand of sunglasses you wear, as long as they have UVA/UVB protection in the lenses, you will be protected and looking great!

I try to wear sunglasses no matter what time of year. Winter is a bit harder cause it isn’t as bright, that is until it snows. Then I am wearing my sunglasses non stop. You can really hurt your eyes if you aren’t careful. Great post!
