The professional/medical level Pumpkin Mask Peel is administered by a professional aesthecian or dermatologist. It is normally part of a regular facial that is scheduled every six to eight weeks.
The pumpkin mask which smells and looks a lot like pumpkin pie filling is applied to freshly cleaned skin with a fan style brush avoiding the eye area. I did experience a slight stinging but it wasn’t uncomfortable or untolerable. My aesthecian left it on for about 15 minutes and then wiped it off using two large round wet sponges. After my skin was dry I noticed that my skin felt super soft. I did have some redness but my skin is quite sensitive and I’ve come to expect a certain amount of redness when undergoing any procedure.
A few days after the pumpkin peel I did notice that my pores seem much smaller, my skin appeared more even toned and was staying clearer longer all of which I attribute to the acidic nature of the pumpkin peel dissolving that nasty cellular glue gunk that leads to clogged pores which then leads to the dreaded acne.

for price which ranges from $65 to $80 per facial.

I have heard of masks of other types of mask from other types of vegetables and fruits but not a pumpkin mask before. Although it does sound pretty interesting. I might give it a try sometime.

I have heard about the pumpkin mask as well.. people need to make sure they don’t have any strange allergies though I am sure. I have heard about pumpkin as a good astringent too along with red wine. Suppose natural products are just better. Good to know.

I don’t think I could stand having something that smelt like a Pumpkin Pie on my face. I would definitely succumb to eating it. Although, I guess I would need some whip cream. Great information! Thanks.

I’ve been reading a lot about the pumpkin masks as well, what with Halloween coming up…what recommendations do you have to help with dry/sensitive skin? Is there a different recipe I should follow?

A pumpkin mask? I have not yet try using this facial mask. But I heard positive feedback after applying this facial mask. I use an avocado facial mask before. I would like to try this pumpkin facial mask. Nice post. Thanks for sharing.

I bought a package of 5 facials at a spa in Santa Monica, CA. I was given a pumpkin treatment each time I went in (about every two weeks) At first, I just thought it was the fragrance added too the product, but the lady told me it was a pumpkin mask. I was surprised at how good it felt, and the smell was nice, but not like I just got smacked with a pumpkin pie. After my 5 visits, I was amazed at the difference in the apperance of my skin. I will definitely try this at home. Thx!

I love experimenting with different facial masks and pumpkin is one of my favorites! It’s great for a gentle exfoliation and is full of antioxidants! Plus it smells awesome!
