I know how hard it is to get ugly feet pretty. Honestly, I have super-yucky feet. I have dry, ashy and cracking heels that torment me as they snag on anything I rub them against. Nothing like the feel of dry, cracked and peeling feet to make me feel less than sexy – trust me your significant other doesn’t want those kind of feet making contact with their legs or anything else. So I have a serious vested interest in getting my footsies smooth and gorgeous.
I’ve immersed myself up to my ankles in soaking foot baths. I’ve filed and scraped icky dry, calloused heals. I’ve lathered on rich foot creams and donned on ankle socks. All in the quest to find the best foot products, which I did
Here are the three foot care products that worked for me:
- Body Shop’s Peppermint Cooling Foot Soak – ah! That’s all I can say, ah, because it makes my tired feet feel so good.
- Dimancel Tough Buffer #11 and Callous Conquerer #20 – Wicked expensive at $49 and $38 respectively, but wildly effective.
- Nailtiques’ Avocado Foot Creme – smells great and works ( use overnight-only) great combined with a pair of cotton socks. This foot cream is formulated to aid in the healing of rough, dry or cracked skin and calloused areas. $15 for 4 OZ.

Thank you for the suggestion. My previous foot cream, an Avon just ran out and I can not find another good one.

You should try the ped-egg. I HAD rough dry skin on my icky feet also. I found out about the ped-egg and tried it. It works FANTASTIC. It gets off all of the dry skin and they are as smooth as a baby’s. Caution not to rub on one area for too long, as it will make the skin raw (you have to rub the same spot for a very long time to make it raw).
