Olay Regenerist Eye-Lifting Serum

About a year ago I started to notice fine lines popping up under my eyes, some sagging and a deeper darkening of the skin under the eye. Around that same time I noticed Olay commercials touting the miracle of peptides in their beauty creams. I headed to the drugstore to buy it and I must admit the eye serum was pricier than what I expected for a non-prestige brand however the ads they were running did a good job in convincing me to part with my money.

I immediately liked the product packaging and it was easy to use – good, user-friendly product design gets bonus points. I used the Olay Regenerist Eye-Lifting Serum for an eight week period. I liked that the serum itself glided on luxuriously and didn’t feel greasy and it was quickly absorbed by my skin . The serum also created a nice surface (primer) so my concealer always went on smooth. The first week or so when I applied the serum it did sting – enough to make my skin turn red but after that I had no tingling or burning sensation.

After the eight weeks I did notice an improvement in the texture of my under-eye skin, a bit less sagging and puffiness, too. Which are quite decent results if those are your only beauty concerns but I also needed an eye treatment product that would address the terribly dark under-eye circles I’d been sporting for the last couple of years and which are getting progressively worse as I age.

I think that the Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum is a good option for those in their mid-twenties to early thirties as well as those who want to get a head-start in the battle against aging.

I plan on buying the Olay eye-pod product in the near future – so stay tuned as that review will be up shortly.

I haven’t tried that exact product, but I like Olay’s Regenerist deep hydration regenerating cream! It also has peptides, and I think it’s helped my fine lines and wrinkles, but it’s hard to tell since I use more than one product every day! I do need an eye cream that actually works on puffy bags, though!

    Hi Jeni,

LOL, I use more than one product a day too. It’s like a skin care cocktail on my skin 24 hours a day. But I’ve got to stay vigilant or my skin condition goes from normal to eww in no time at all.

I just finished reviewing the Z. Bigatti eye cream and was disappointed in the results as related to the price tag. I had expected much more for such an expensive cream, granted I only used it for a little over a week – maybe if I had used it longer the results would have been different. My aunt swears by that line of skin care but I just wasn’t impressed.

To date my favorite eye cream is DERMAdoctor Wrinkle Revenge Rescue & Protect Eye Balm it retails for under $70 and lasts a very long time. The eye balm specifically targeted my three eye skin concerns:

    1. fine lines and wrinkles on the corner of the eye
    2. puffy bags
    3. and dark circles
