Olay Foaming Face Wash

The Olay Foaming Face Wash is a non-foaming gentle cleanser from the makers of the Oil of Olay family of products. I decided to give this face wash a tryout – it was inexpensive and I had used other other Olay products such as the Regenerist Eye Serum which I truly liked so I thought why not.

I liked that the Olay Foaming Wash came in a pump dispenser. So many cleansers come with the flip lid or screw off caps which I absolutely abhor because they are difficult to use with wet hands- product designers are you listening? Unfortunately that is where my love affair with this product ends. I found that the foaming wash lacked umph in the foaming department it was more like a soupy soap lather but I could look past that minor flaw. The real product flaw is that it is very drying and it isn’t that good at removing makeup. My skin always felt overly dry after cleansing with the Olay Foaming Wash and since my skin’s natural oils were stripped my oil glands reacted by producing even more. Within one hour of cleansing my skin was very oily.
