I was introduced to the Mary Kay Skin Care and Cosmetics collection via a co-worker. I was intrigued with the product because she said it was oil free and yet it was in a cream form that made it easy to apply. I was assured that the product was safe for problem skin – meaning my hyper-sensitive blemish prone skin. I tried the product out during the skin care class and actually did like how it felt as I applied it to my skin. It turned from a creamy texture into a soft powdery texture. So I bought one.
Several days later after using the Mary Kay Cream to Powder foundation my skin erupted. I had pimples, cystic bumps and black heads all over the place. I stopped using the product and a few days later my skin started to clear up. I threw away the cream to powder foundation – a waste of money but I wasn’t going to keep applying that stuff to my skin and in good conscience I wouldn’t give it to someone else so that their skin would also suffer.
Mary Kay Cosmetics has some good products this just wasn’t one of them.
