Indulge Soothing Eye Gel – Mary Kay Cosmetics

I take a risk any time I even mention Mary Kay to friends – they are so put off by the stereotypical MKbot that they completely write-off even testing the products. To be honest, I rather submit to having my bikini area waxed without the numbing spray than attend a Mary Kay Skin Care event. That said, I do really like some of their products – just not the (some) of their sales people but hey that’s what the internet’s for

I ordered a jar of the Indulge Soothing Eye Gel a while back and I really, really like it. First, it’s wildly refreshing. I loved the cooling sensation that immediately followed application. I think mentally it also woke me up – kind of like splashing cold water on your face but without the mess. It’s less than $12.00 and great for a little pick-me up – specially when it’s hot and humid outdoors. If you’re looking for a long-term solution to reduce fine lines, increase elasticity or markedly reduce puffiness then I’d recommend DERMAdoctor Wrinkle Revenge Rescue & Protect Eye Balm. I am currently testing Z. Bigatti’s Restoration Eye Return and will update in a few days as to it’s effectiveness.
