Healing Your Skin from the Inside Out

I can’t stress enough the importance of considering your entire body as part of your skin care regimen. You will never ever be able to heal the external damage to your skin be it from aging or acne if you only treat the skin from the outside. Creams, topical medications and professional treatments can only go so far and the results won’t be long lasting.

In order to have better looking skin you need a combined therapeutic approach that takes into account nutrition and exercise in addition to an effective daily beauty regimen composed of over-the-counter products and prescription medication (if deemed necessary by your physician).Since I believe a comprehensive approach to skin care as described above is important, I have created a Skin Care, Diet and Exercise topic on the distressedDERMA site that will contain articles that pertain to healing your skin from the inside out.
