After having clear skin for a blissful four weeks I’ve been hit with several acne bumps since getting sick last week and eating an awful diet. Thanks to the Zeno MD and my emergency skincare regimen I am getting the breakout under control. However, I noticed that the recent breakout I wrote about in my last post was taking way too long to resolve based on my past history with the Zeno. I thought that maybe the Zeno needed to be charged because one of the blinky lights was going berserk. So I set the Zeno aside and let it charge for a few hours. I came back reapplied the Zeno tip and NADA – no heat- just blinky light. Begrudgingly I reached for the Zeno box and out came the instructions. AND…
The blinky light I saw wasn’t because it needed to be charged it was because the cartridge tip was at the end of it’s life. UGH!!! So I changed the tip and applied another treatment to the pesky pimples and this time the Zeno tip was hot. A few hours later I was finally able to relax because the pimples are beginning to resolve quickly which means I don’t have to stress out about my stressed-out skin.
The lesson here is if your Zeno isn’t working as it should may be it needs a new cartridge – and reading and remembering the instructions does help
Anyways, in a kind of unrelated item, my Zeno MD original cartridge of 150 treatments lasted me almost three months and I am the type of gal who runs for the Zeno when I feel even the threat of a bump.

do you understand the difference between Zeno Pro and Zeno MD?
All I can figure if one comes with 90 treatments, and the other with 150.

Hi Mary,
I am not sure if there is any functional difference other than the refills and the PRO being available in fashion colors.
If you are considering purchasing a Zeno and the Pro is less expensive up front (less cartridges) then I’d go that route. Mine was pricey $200 but it’s been the best $200 I’ve ever spent in my life. My skin looks great and I’m able to zap the pimple before it has a chance to develop into an ugly mess on my face.
And you probably already know this the Zeno alone isn’t going to solve the acne problem you need to be religious about your skin care regimen. My skin care rountine is here if you are interested.
